Go Problems
Solving problems is one of the main ways to get stronger. Start with the 200 included problems, then add problem packs to keep you challenged, from 30 kyu (beginner) to 6 dan (strong amateur). SmartGo will present the problems and keep track of your progress.
Go Books
Enjoy over 150 high-quality interactive books about the game of Go. Replay moves and solve problems directly within diagrams. A better experience than printed books, at half the price.
Joseki matching
Given a corner or full-board position, SmartGo One shows you the moves played by professionals, sorted by frequency. It does this by finding matching positions in the whole game collection. Explore the matching games to see how games typically develop after a certain opening or joseki.
Tree View
The tree view in SmartGo One makes navigation easy. By compressing regular black-white-black-white move sequences and emphasizing branch points and annotations, the tree view reveals the structure of an annotated game.
Play vs. Computer
Based on the powerful KataGo engine, SmartGo One will challenge you mercilessly. Play against the computer, take back moves, get hints, and have the computer estimate the balance of territory. Replay the game and explore different variations.
Record and Edit Games
Game recording and editing features have been fine-tuned through actual use at many tournaments, so it’s a snap to record your over-the-board games. For example, you can adjust misplaced moves, insert a pair of moves, add comments, and email the game record to your opponent.
Manage Your Collection
Organize your games in iCloud Drive and sync across devices. Use folders, or group games into collections. Open and edit zipped collections of SGF files directly.
