SmartGo Kifu vs. Pro
SmartGo Pro was our original iPhone-only app.
SmartGo Kifu is now universal and works on both iPad and iPhone, and includes everything that SmartGo Pro offered, and more. SmartGo Pro has been discontinued; future development will focus on SmartGo Kifu.
Why was SmartGo Pro not universal to begin with? In hindsight, that would have been the right choice. At the time, I expected the iPhone and iPad versions to diverge; however, I've managed to bring most iPad features back to the iPhone.

Upgrade from Pro to Kifu
We'd like to transition everybody from SmartGo Pro to SmartGo Kifu. Upgrade pricing would help with this transition, but unfortunately, Apple doesn't support that yet.
If upgrading to SmartGo Kifu is a hardship, we're happy to help. Just send us proof of your SmartGo Pro purchase (e.g. your iTunes receipt), and we'll get you a free copy of SmartGo Kifu as long as we have promo codes left.
