A SmartGo license code looks something like this: A1B2-C3D4-E5F6-G7H8. You purchase it from SmartGo, and it unlocks your free download so you can keep using it after the 15-day trial period expires.
When SmartGo prompts you at startup, enter the serial number. SmartGo will connect to our activation server on the internet and will verify that your serial number is legitimate. SmartGo is then unlocked and will not prompt you for the serial number again.
Yes. If SmartGo can't connect to the activation server, it will give you the option to activate by email (which can be running on a different machine).
Don't panic. Try again, entering each digit or letter by hand. You can also copy and paste the whole serial number. If it still fails, please contact SmartGo support.
Yes, you can install SmartGo on two of your computers, such as desktop and laptop, or home and work, for example. You need to activate SmartGo separately on each computer.
Simply uninstall the software on the old computer to deactivate it, and then install and activate it on your new computer.
